Buy Art Give Art

Buy Art Give Art is a city-wide advocacy campaign to engage community members with arts organizations and businesses who support the visual arts.

Partnering with Mayor Dave Norris, as well as local artists, arts organizations, and community members, Buy Art Give Art is designed to increase the visibility and economic support of the arts by promoting its compelling message through the distribution of branded buttons.

The ongoing campaign features the work of local artists on buttons that are given to anyone who purchases an original work by a local visual artist. The widespread distribution of buttons and presence of the Buy Art Give Art message will generate added awareness and appreciation of the local visual arts community while inspiring creativity and thoughtful interaction within our vibrant Charlottesville culture.
