Publisher of books about Charlottesville written by Charlottesville authors.
The Hypocrite Press was founded in 1991 to promote awareness of and a healthy critical stance toward the culture of Charlottesville, by offering works by local authors who choose to write about life here. We also issue reprints of historical local works of interest to the community. Proceeds of the press are used to promote publications and to take risks on new authors.
